Send in the Pandas: Received from China

A great couple of mail days: 3 postcards, 11 pandas, all from one sender in Guiyang, China, thanks to a pair of tags in a Postcrossing Forum “you choose” thread.

This Postcrosser writes a few little things between the address space & all of the wonderful stamps she uses (you’ll see), but the thing most interesting to share here is probably that the Chinese term for panda translates into something like fat cat bear.  Hmm.

All 3 of these cards are so wonderful. I’d have to say if I need to choose a #1, it would be beautiful Jingjing up there.

Stamps! What I really (really) like is that shiba inu sticker down at the bottom.

The swap-bot directive was to “make a postcard recycled from some other cardboard type material. It could be a cereal box, the container for something bought, a paperback book cover, a used greeting card… The possibilities are endless!”.  I was VERY up for this; every time I buy a box of Hello Panda, I want to turn it into a postcard!

I like Hello Panda. Do YOU like Hello Panda? I like Hello Panda.
